SCOPE
The objective of this series of workshops is to discuss the physics and technical aspects of very large volume neutrino telescopes.
PARTNERS
Partners in the discussions are the neutrino telescope communities and representatives of industries relevant for building very large neutrino telescopes.
HISTORY
Originally, the scope of the workshop was limited to the technical design of a neutrino telescope in the Mediterranean Sea. It served as a platform for discussions about possible designs for the KM3NeT neutrino telescope. Since 2008, scope of the workshop has been extended to the physics and technical aspects of very large neutrino telescopes in general, thus including more prominently, the discussion about results and future plans of the neutrino telescopes at the Antartic and in Lake Baikal.
